I lived in BR a few years ago and finished High school at Broadmoor and I liked living there but I left because the economy sucked and could not find a stable job. DH is from BR and we are considering moving back. How is the job market and the housing market. Wre are considering BR and Seattle Wa in our possible move.
Re: BR Questions
You should come back to BR. We rock. BR doesn't seem to have been hit as hard as the rest of the country.
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
The housing market is pretty good for buyers. As long as you have some kind of a down payment and a decent credit score, you shouldn't have any trouble with financing.
I don't know a lot of detail as far as the economy is concerned but I do know that Louisiana in general has faired pretty well in comparison to the rest of the country. I think with your profession, you'll have an easier time finding a job than most.
We actually have a nestie who just moved here from Seattle. She can probably offer some insight to there vs. here. Good luck!
you've got great hospitals here too with plenty of job openings... Womans, OLOL, BR General, etc.
