I would like to ask for a new digital camera for Christmas this year from my mom, do you have one you like? I currently have a Kodak Easy Share and I am not trilled with it. I don't want something super expensive but I want something good. Thanks!

    I have a canon power shot and the canon rebel. We have been happy with both cameras. The power shot is reasonably priced and takes nice pictures. I like that it has the ability to change settings and it is easy for beginners. It has a setting for indoor, beach, aquarium, portraits, kids and pets, etc.

    I'm a Canon fan (I have a Canon Rebel), but my current point and shoot is a Casio Exilim and I really do love it.  I got it for Christmas about 2 years ago and it's still working perfectly.  The picture quality is really nice, and you can adjust some of the settings on it.  I do agree with the PP and would totally recommend a Canon PowerShot though.  They are great point and shoots.  If I had to go out and buy a new point and shoot, I'd get the Canon ELPH SD780 IS.  I'm not sure what super expensive is (cause I think it's a little expensive Smile ), but it's SO compact...you could just stick it in your pocket and go!
