Has anyone been to a Direct Buy? I see they are offering a 30 day free trial membership. I am wondering if it is worth a look?
Re: Direct Buy?
If you could go for 30 days it might be ok, but I would be VERY careful! They are getting sued all the time and have a lot of BBB complaints from what I hear. Seems most people who have signed up as "members" think they are scam artists... My parents looked into it and said it was NOT worth it or a good deal FWIW...
I agree with PP, be very careful. If you Google DirectBuy and read about some of the customer experiences, it'll probably scare you away. If the 30-day free trial is legit then sure, go for it, but make sure you research first. They use some very high pressure sales tactics, the initial membership fee is very high (i.e. several thousand dollars), and while you do pay less for products through them what I hear is that they tend to have higher-end products so the prices are higher to begin with. I mean, if you can "save" tens of thousands of dollars on kitchen cabinets as the ads claim, how much were they to start with and what did you end up paying?
