How did your weekend go?

Re: How was your weekend?
I had a pretty good weekend.
Friday we made a pizza and rented a movie. Went to bed early as DH had to work the next day.
Saturday DH worked from 6-4 so I had some of his friends over for the Husker game and DH joined us when he got off. In the evening, we went over to my parent's and celebrated my sister's birthday which was fun.
Sunday I finished painting my bathroom border (inspired by Memorial Stadium), went to church, relaxed and played some Wii, got more pictures hung up. It was a nice relaxing but productive day.

On Friday we went to a local downtown festival for a chili cook-off, then we went to a restaurant for some drinks, and we ended up at our friend's house for a bit.
On Saturday DH went work out at 5am. When he got back we cleaned the house. We were supposed to go to the festival for a bit, but we couldn't find any place to park, so we ended up going eat lunch at Chili's. After we went to Lowe's to look at Christmas stuff, tools, and get ideas for things we want to change in our house. In the afternoon, we had a friend's son's first birthday party. That was fun because he was in a really good mood and he's adorable. After the party, we went to Academy for DH to buy some more golf tees, Home Depot to buy our artificial tree, went to Best Buy to get a Christmas present, then we went to the movies to see "Couples Retreat."
On Sunday we went to mass and went grocery shopping. My parents called us to go over for lunch after we unpacked our groceries. DH left after lunch to go visit his grandma and to spend some time in his childhood home, which is being sold tomorrow. I spent the afternoon shopping for decorations and a few Christmas and shower gifts. We spent the night just relaxing.
Busy!!
Friday, we went out to dinner, shopping and then to the hot tubs. We got our Christmas tree, it's so cute. It's a 4' prelight one. When Brett isn't looking, I'm going to put more lights on it. I don't care, 250 isn't enough for a 4' tree LOL. I got a massive migraine at the hot tubs and don't remember much of the drive home, muchless Brett missing a turn and us going on a detour, hah. I spent the rest of the night with a towel on my eyes and eating pain killers. Great way to end date night
Saturday, we laid around all day and then went out with some friends. My MOH's cousin is a manager for a band, so we saw them. No clue if they were any good, it was to loud for the space they were in. Yuck.
Yesterday I laid around all day

It was a good weekend. I finally feel like life is getting back to normal...right in time for Holiday craziness!!
Friday we went and saw the Christmas Carol in Imax 3-D! It was awesome and well worth the ticket price. We also saw a previw for Alice in Wonderland in 3-D by Tim Burton with Johnny Depp as the madhatter. It looks awesome!
Saturday I went on a short 6 mile run. It felt good to run again! And then the weather was rather miserable so we cleaned and watched football all day!
Sunday was mass and then a gtg with some local knotties. It was fun!
It was a good weekend!
Friday we just relaxed. Saturday was really rainy around here, so we just went grocery shopping and then cooked a dinner together.
Yesterday we went furniture shopping. We renovated our living room and have been sharing a loveseat for 2 years. It's time for more furniture. We found a couple of maybe's and I am going to go to one more place today.
I have today off for a doctors appointment an hour away this afternoon. I am attempting to cook my first omelette as we speak!
Have a great week girls.
