XP: Where to get a facial?

My aunt is trying to book facials for the two of us this Saturday as a birthday treat for me - isn't she sweet?  She's not having much luck with finding appointments.  She's tried a few NKY salons and Mitchell's.  She was also going to call Identity.  Can you all recommend some others?  Thanks!!

Re: XP: Where to get a facial?

  • I go to Ava at LaBella Salon and Spa
  • Tonics at the Cincinnati Sports Club...great place plus if it is your first time you get 20%off!
  • I've never had a facial there, but I love Mi Salon & Spa in Florence.
  • How nice! I don't have any recs though, just wanted to say happy birthday, date twin! What place did you decide on for dinner?

  • I'm not as familiar with all the different spa places in Cinci yet, but my friend gave me a gift certificate to Woodhouse Day Spa as a "moving to town gift." (http://www.woodhousecincinnati.com/) I had a volcanic stone massage while I was there and went back the next week to get my eyebrows done. I really loved the experience there... and it was nice because there it isn't a salon/spa, so you don't have people talking and blow dryers going off in the background.  The ambiance in really nice and it didn't seem like they were rushing my appt. while I was there. It's kind of on the expensive side, but I think its a good place for a nice treat.
