28th Bday Present Help
DH is turning 28 Dec. 10th and I have NO idea what to get him.
I am totally at a loss this year. Last year I got him tickets to see Jeff Dunham.
He is outdoorsy, loves his truck, and hunting. He loves college football (UGA) and any other pro teams that are in Georgia. He is also a fireman/EMT and really likes what he does. We got married in June at have lived in our home for almost 1 year. So any ideas? HELP!

Haha, as for gift ideas... would clothes be disappointing? I find you can never go wrong with sports apparel, tickets, etc.

I know mine would love Zac Brown concert tickets, Brad Paisley concert tickets, a new tree climber (whatever that is!), and anything to do with the boat. He is obsessed with that stupid thing.?
OOHH, I just had a good idea although he couldn't actually get this gift until October of next year...how about tix to the FL/GA game next year with hotel/restaurant in Jacksonville? Even though FL will stomp GA again, it is still a fun experience

The Brad Paisley tickets would be a great idea, but I kind of already hinted that I wanted them for my birthday. He will be in Columbus my birthday weekend. So, I don't want to get those and it seem like a birthday gift for myself!
Maybe someone else will be closer to home around his birthday. . .

What is your budget? I'm sure it's tough for him having a bday so close to Christmas. Growing up, I knew a set of twins born on 12/25. Not only did they have to share with each other, but they also got the shaft being born on Christmas Day. I can't imagine...

What about tickets to an NFL game in your area? Or a night at a casino hotel with some gambling money? Does he ski? you could get lift tickets to a ski resort.
For birthdays I like to buy "events" so we can go somewhere rather than just get him a present. I dont know why but that's generally what I do. For xmas this year, I think I'm buying DH some golf lessons (he's been talking about taking them all summer) and a new putter. For his birthday, I'm contemplating a weekend trip to Savannah or Chicago for St. Patty's Day since his birthday is March 18th and the party is supposed to be great.

No luck yet. I have searched every concert venue within a 150 mile radius (well, maybe not every one, but mostly). He needs a new wallet, but that seems lame. I would rather go with something he wouldn't buy himself, like a fancy new light bar for his truck. And by light bar, I don't mean the big kind on top of the truck. I mean the little kind that fits on the dashboard so when he runs fire calls. Like this:
