Facials

I've been to G Spa in Boston twice for facials and I absolutely loved it. What I didn't love was 1) driving to Boston (I'm in one of the "boros") and 2) the price.

Can you recommend a really nice, clean place I can go to get a facial? I like the kind where the esthetician will play with your hair and massage your arms and hands while the treatment sits on your face. I'd like to pay about $100 for the actual service and then tip like $25-30.

Re: Facials

  • Where are you located? Interlocks in Newburyport is awesome, ask for Laura, she does all my skin care stuff!

  • I've always had luck with Elizabeth Grady, I used to go to them before we moved to Boston. Now I love Bella Sante and Exhale, both in town.
  • I've heard many raves about Elizabeth Grady.
  • I am learning about glycolic acid facials at Catherine Hinds. We are learning the advanced massage you mentioned. We use the advanced massage with the advanced facials (glycolic, vitamin c, etc.)  Facials start at $24 in student clinic. There is also free parking. Catherine Hinds is in woburn.  You would be in a large room with other clients and student estheticians however. $120 could get you a half day package which includes steam, body exfoliation, wrap, mini facial, and soothing session.
