Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I made the red Icing myself. I bought a container of vanilla icing then I had to buy the real red coloring from michaels. It's by wilton and was in the same aisle as the cake and wedding stuff. It was under $3.00. I used maybe half the jar. I will warn you it is really red. watch your skin, I had pink fingers for a while because of the dye (however once mixed it didn't stain, thank goodness for my carpet!)

Thanks! ?I bought red icing colouring when I did my friends wedding cake. ?I was able to make burgundy and my hands were hot pink for weeks afterwards!?
Thanks I will check out the red. ?I may be making my niece's first birthday cake. ?It too will be Elmo...he's just too cute and popular!?
