We were out at Lowes the other night and we were looking at Christmas lights for our house. We want to put white icicles on the gutters but are unsure on what kind to get. There are the reg lights for around $4 a box or go for the energy efficiant ones for $15 a box. Is there alot of differeance if what they look like? What are you ladies doing?

Re: Christmas Lights
We bought our lights last year on clearance in anticipation of having a house this year lol. We went with regular. I think they look brighter and I can't justify the extra cost. My cousin said Festival of Lights last year switched from regular to LED and that she thought it didn't look as good, too.
Someone told me the other day that you're actually supposed to replace your strings of lights every 3 years or something. I did also hear something about Lowes (or HD?) giving you like $3 off if you bring in old lights to trade for new LEDs.
