Regular lurker question..

Yes, I'm a regular lurker..and maybe because I don't post I shouldn't ask this..but a friend of mine is hosting a girl's Christmas party and I suggested the infamous cookie exchange y'all did last year..I remember someone doing those fabulous red velvet cookies and would like if they would come forward and share their recipe with me purty please! They sounded so good then and would be awesome with our spiked egg nog! ;) Thanks y'all!

Re: Regular lurker question..

  • gosh, I remember having something red velvet but I can't remember who had it.  I brought the gingersnaps and some forgotten cookies for Ali.  But my favorite were Limabeetle's mint chocolate cookies.  They tasted like thin mints!

  • I didn't go then but I know what you're talking about.  I got the recipe from MT but I think Season had brought them.  They are sinfully good.  Here's the recipe.

  • Hah! I must say that I keep up with yall as much as I do Facebook which is so sad! I probably should join in! lol..Christen, I must admit stalking your food blog quite frequently lol..Your banana bread and coconut cake were out of this world and I use your recipes constantly..lol *embarassed*
  • The recipe makes like double the icing you really need so I usually make a double batch of cookies for 1 batch of icing. Also make sure that truly use a the scoop size they spread a LOT! Good choice they're always a crowd pleaser.
