my teeth are horrible, have been since I was a kid. I brush/floss twice a day and still, always cavities and now my teeth are actually BREAKING because I grind at night apparently. A back tooth broke over the weekend and it's a sharp point and has cut my tongue. So now I have to go get it filed down. I don't have dental insurance so I can't afford to get it fixed right now. It sucks so bad and is so depressing because there's nothing I can do. At the rate I'm going, I'll have dentures in the next few years. And I gotta say, it'd be a relief not to have to deal with this anymore!
P.S. It's genetic, the dental problems. My niece had a double root canal by age 4. My uncle had dentures at 25. Hopefully E has inherited James' teeth!

I completely understand...I'm still paying off the dental bills I accrued last year. It sucks!
Edit: I used to drink soda, ended up with 10 cavities, 3 of which required root canals and crowns. The pain was insane for me, and I still am holding back on getting the permanent crowns (which I already paid for) because I need another root canal that has reared it's ugly head. However, I will say, I only drink soda about 2 times/week now, bought a Sonicare brush with birthday money and I floss every night. The past appointment had one baby cavity, so I'm glad to see things improving.
Those bills suck...AND I had insurance at the time...dentists need to be cheaper!
