Since we are on the topic of gifts...
What are you all planning on getting your husbands for Christmas? I have double gift giving to do since my H's birthday is 3 days after Christmas. I am always at a total loss of what to get him. He is a really tough person to shop for!

Kristen Bart really enjoyed the wine thing we did at Tria. They have a lot of classes on beer as well. You could look into that.
My H and I haven't set our gift-giving limit yet, but I have a few ideas in the works...
Ideally, I'd just like for us to buy a Digital SLR camera and that be both of our presents, but I don't think he'll go for it. So my other thoughts are (he's not getting all of these):
Phillies jersey, Ugg work boots, acoustic bass, or refurbished XBOX 360
Nothing. Our heater is broken and he's having car trouble. Super swell having two major problems a month before Christmas! It's more important to us to make sure the kids are taken care of and have a good holiday so we're not going to exchange gifts with each other this year.
If we were doing gifts, he's super easy...anything Redskins or Mustang related and he's good to go.
I got my H Ugg work boots last year and he loves them. Wears them all the time.
This year I got him the Margaritaville Margarita maker.
For future reference, I LOVE the t-shirt quilt I got him a few years back from www.tshirtquilts.com. It's amazing AND it got rid of about 40 tshirts and jerseys he was never going to wear again.
DH saw a Hockey Hall of Fame Jersey on our honeymoon but didn't want to spend the money so that's what he's getting. Not sure what else yet we have a strict limit with spending so much on the house.
we are probably going to give each other a weekend getaway. i am thinking MLK weekend or presidents weekend.
we gave up on gifts years ago since we always end up buying stuff whenever we want it and there is nothing ever left that either of us wants when xmas comes around!
So far I bought him a Phillies track jacket on Rue La La (thx to your post!) and an earbud case from Avon for his stocking.
I might get him a new Eagles jersey because he got an authentic Dawkins jersey last year...smart choice, I know. LOL...so he doesn't wear it that much.
2012 Reading Challenge

Thanks for posting this. I've been saying for at least a year that I wish I could quilt so I could do this. Now the trick is getting him to part with shirts, I wish I could do this without him knowing something was up.

I'm got him an Eagles jersey. So far I also have a pair of jeans and a shirt for him.
He really wants a new couch (as do I) and said he'd forgo exchanging presents if we get a new couch... too bad I already bought him stuff in attempt to be prepared since we have a LO on the way.
If your H is anything like mine, he'd barely miss 40 tshirts. Sad, but true. I stole them from under his nose.
