mpix photo books

First off... what the hell happened? I thought TK was down for two days... and here everyone is. Ok. Happy Kristina helped me figure that out :)

Anyways, has anyone gotten any photo books from mpix? They have a suede photo album that I really like... any reviews on the quality?

Re: mpix photo books

  • Thanks for this post because I have heard a lot of good things about mpix and wanted to see what everyone thought of them.  My husband is a huge MAC lover (the computer not the makeup) so he really wants to create our wedding album on his computer.

  • You're welcome Chick.... :)  Glad you found us!

     The computer....not the make-up.....lol

  • I like mpix's photo books and I looked into using them. If you're going with a 20 page or under album, it's perfect, but it can get expensive if you want more than that. We're only doing one really nice album through our photographer. Other than that, we're using Blurb because their prices just can be beat. I've seen other websites that allow a suede cover, but again, their cost per additional spread is high, IMO.

  • Nicole LOL!!!!  What he can't find the right shade with them?

Chick- I have not personally seen anything from them but I have heard their quality is great.

  • I have used mpix for their basic book and loved it. I don't have experience with blurb or my publisher to compare. My photographer is the one who recommended them to us. But that was for prints which I love too! Anyways, I didn't get the suede but the picture on the front. I have designed a book in mypublisher and frankly much prefer the design program for my publisher. You have complete freedom with them.
