Ladies... I've been experimenting with the idea of starting a blog to talk about farming. I just feel it is SO important for people to understand the truth of normal, everday, modern agriculture. I guess you could say it's my soapbox. So, if any of you have a minute to read my first attempt and either leave comments here or on my blog, I would appreciate it.
I want to make a positive difference, and not come across as crazy, bitter, or too corny. I tried to keep it light, so let me know if you think it sounds silly.
I think as I go along, I will post farming information as well as relevant info for people's lives. For example, around holidays I could post good recipes and remind people that all their food is grown by farmers. I will also talk some about my life outside the farm, and try to post good general links and info.
TIA for your suggestions!
Re: I started a blog and I'm nervous...
I think its great! I don't think you need to be nervous to write about your own life. I think it will be a great way to share your knowledge about farming and open people's eyes to it.
I like it! Don't be nervous. I get nervous when I blog too, i think why am I doing this, no one cares how i feel when I run, or after I run. or whatever else I write about.
