Chimney/Fireplace Repair
Hey Boston Nesties.
Any good recs? I have two companies coming out to give me an estimate on some repair. They both check out ok on BBB, but neither of them can make it until late December. TIA.

ugh we have the same problem. We called in August because we have a bat problem involving the 6 inch hole between the damaged chimney and the attic wall, and the guy said we have to wait until the bats have started to hibernate, so call back later to set up a time for him to come, and in October, he was completely booked until spring. I hope the attic floor is well-insulated!
Luckily the fireplace is useable, it's only the outside of the chimney that's damaged.
I'll let you know if we find anyone else that's more helpful.
We just used Master Chimney Sweepers to do a chimney sweep and inspection. We had good luck with them.

Wow, we're having massive chimney issues too...
We got a quite from EuroSweep in Braintree... though we know they're reliable we're going to seek out a 2nd opinion, just in case.
