At today's appointment at the high risk clinic, there was a 4th year med student sitting in on the consults (after the U/S) while the nurse was out talking to the dr, she was making small chat. In a matter of 2 minutes, she managed to ask me if I was married (which I don't care about, but isn't really an appropriate question to be asking a pregnant woman as it could come across as judgmental to someone who isn't married) and also told me that the couple who was in before me had a "surprise" pregnancy. While it's not like I know the couple, I was sitting in the waiting room with them for a long time and did hear their names.
Now I wonder if she'll be referring to me when talking to the next patients as the infertile one.

That is insane in the membrane.
Hmm. My family doctor tends to "ask inappropiate questions" but I think its because he has been my doctor since I was two but he never talks about other patients. Thats really inconsiderate.
