Hesitant...
So, I'm a bit hesitant about my vacation I'm leaving for tomorrow.
Is it because I have a fear of flying? Slightly, yes. That always makes me anxious. Is it because this is the first long weekend I'll have away from my husband since the wedding? Yup, but that's more just because I'll miss him. Is it because I have a LOT of work to do and I know I won't do any of it over the weekend? That's weighing on my mind for sure.
But the real reason I'm hesistant about my vacation is...well...you all. It seems like every time I leave for an extended period of time, I come back to a flurry of posts about "everything I missed". It's like there's a drama-filled-bat-signal that goes up: "Let the sh*t hit the fan!"
Granted, I can only recall three significant times when this has happened (If I'm remembering right, it was the Rotel banning, HLP's GBC-ing, and the baby hating).
Anyway, just a friendly reminder to try and behave yourselves. Mamie is in charge while I'm gone.

HLP GBCNot so much. She left when someone called her out for her posts making people want to jab forks into their eyeballs due to grammar/ spelling errors, people gave good advice about spellcheck, she came back and apologized for flipping out, did OK for like a week in posting in full sentences, reverted back into her WTF-speak, and then I left, so I'm not sure what happened after that lol...

Once upon a time we had a reg who had a friend getting married. I say "friend" in the loose sense of the word because friend was not a good friend (details have escaped me). Friend had a very low budget wedding where Rotel was served (as the main dish? help!). It began a saga on J9 as we were delighted to hear every chapter of the Rotel Wedding saga. (We even tossed out name ideas for baby Rotel on the way.)
Reg made a Rotel Wedding bio complete with pics of the wedding (reg was a BM) and snide remarks. Posters from a national board (P&E) caught wind of the bio and came over here guns a'blazin' to rip reg a new butthole for publicly mocking her friend's budget wedding. More drama ensued, more fights broke out (cdobs and Reg's online bffl gulls went into it) - 2 GBCKs happened.

Yes, the lovely can of tomato and hot pepper traditionally used to make queso with Velveeta. And FTR, we never knocked RoTel queso, just the fact that the bride to be said, when informed she should probably feed her guests, "we'll make some Rotel".
