Re: freakin raccoon!!!!!!!

  • Okay that's just gross.

But seriously - watch your pets, and don't let them wander alone outside.  Racoons are known to kill cats and small dogs.

Time for help from animal control, maybe?

  • Oohh... one time when I was little my parents set up a cage to trap the raccoon... I think they put a can of cat food in the trap. And once they caught it, they called animal control. Good idea Karen.
  • My concern is that it's multiple raccoons.

Foto if you want to be a little freaked out and have an hour to kill, watch the episode of "Animal Extractors" called "Raccoon Attack."  It's got its cheesey national-geographic-kinda moments, but you may find it insightful.

  • OMGGG that thing better not touch my cat!!!!!! but u know, the cat I have outside is my sister's cat. She moved and left it here with me. It is the MEANEST cat I have ever seen. Its like a wild animal. For instance, it wont eat food out of a bowl, you have to feed it just on the ground or on the table without a bowl. She like....does not want to be domesticated LOL u can barely even touch her without her tearing u up!!! I dont think she is afraid of a raccoon. I have seen a raccoon on my porch at night and it was only one of them, but they can prob bring their families over too!! I try to portion her food to where by the night time she has no more so the raccoons wont come and eat it!

Where in the world do I get a raccoon trap?!?!?! I am a huge animal lover... I dunno if I could let animal control come get them. My ex once caught a possum on my porch and we put it in a cat carrier and took it to the elementary school down the road and set it free in the woods LOL i put the thing in my car and everything!!

  • That is the wierdest thing I've ever heard of with a raccoon!  Do they swim and then just not get out when they need to go?  Or do the hover their little butts over the side of the pool?  What the heck?!
  • Well it looks as if they are pooping on the deck right next to the stairs that go into the pool and possibly even in the water on the first stair, unless they push their poop into the swimming pool accidentally when trying to go for a swim lol i found one little piece in the pool and the rest was on the deck. sooo crazy!!
