They are annoying to wash...or at least they were. I was constantly finding I was losing baby socks in the dryer lint trap, in the washer lint trap, they would get lost so easily, I must have bought DD 100 pairs of them. THey just kept disappearing. And then it hit me... I have found the solution to my sock loss. Put the baby socks in one of those delicates bags. Now when I remove DD's socks at the end of the day they go right into the bag. At the end of the week the socks go into the wash with the rest of her stuff. No more lost pairs!

Re: baby socks...
As I was reading the first couple of lines of this post I thought "oooh, she needs a lingerie bag!" lol.
Just wait till your little one starts preschool (if you plan to go that route.) DD's socks are BLACK every day now. Lots of outside time at her school. (Which she adores.) I'm ready to start buying her only dark coloured socks now. Nothing can get some of hers clean.
I'm thinking it would be fun to write a book called, "Baby Socks in the lint trap: What they don't tell you about being a mom"
I am just going to start making lists of things that nobody tells you about being a new mom. Things that drive you insane until you come up with the same solution a million other people have already thought of.
