I love Sushi Samba. I was only there that one time for the GTG but I can't stop thinking about the place, lol.
JPan in Brooklyn. 5th Ave between 1st & 2nd.
We also order japanese weekly for lunch (and my boss is japanese) so we order from Hiro & Oyama near Union Square area.
I love The Loop (3rd ave between 16&17). It's fairly new, but the sushi is amazing. Service has been great, the Angry Crab Roll is a little bit of heaven.
Naka Naka on 17th b/w 10th and 11th. It's so good and not at all expensive.
For a blowout sushi dinner, Blue Ribbon. The lobster with miso butter there is one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.
