Big Brother is watching... you can no longer smile
Re: Big Brother is watching... you can no longer smile
OMG, are you kidding me? One can be depressed and still have happy moments can't they?
One can still have the symptoms of depression and still be able to smile for a photo or fain enjoyment.
That article just made me so angry.
Where part of that makes me a little irritated...part of me thinks that 1. there is a little more information involved and 2. long term disability checks for depression while you bask in the sun???? seriously?? for a year?
Sorry, but I would be inclined to say that she was able to return to work also. I have had to deal with a few people in the office taking leave for things that were completly unecessary while my insurance rates go up even though raises were skipped this year. I shouldn't have to pay for people to go on extended vacations while manipulating a system. That drives me even crazier.
I agree that there is more to the story as well and I'm sure she might not have been depressed anymore but the whole FB stalking thing is horrible. It seems like such a high school thing to do but an insurance company doing it? Icky.
