Has BALLS.
?You know, we don?t need the university as much as they need us ? as
much as they need him and his connections and reputation and
everything. If they want to pull that trick, we?ll just shake the dirt
off our feet and go to Europe or go on a long cruise or something.
?They?ll have to fire him for him not to go another year ? If they?ve got guts enough to do it, let them do it.?

Re: Bobby Bowden's Wife...
WOW. I don't really follow college football, but WOW.
I like it! Honestly why should she give a rat's butt about what other people think. She and Bobby have devoted themselves to that football program. They are in their 70's now.
BTW, I find as people get older the more willing they are to say what is really on their mind. My mom is 76 and she is this way.
I can agree with some of your post, but as a Seminole, Bobby is what we have now. I think he has given his all to this school if he didn't care, he would have left a long time ago. No one can deny this. The man bleeds garnet and gold. I think his wife's word are out of frustration of the way some people have been treating her husband. I can understand it. Was it the best way to handle it? Perhaps not, but they've fully invested everything in this school. The school wouldn't have had such a big program if it wasn't for him. I'm not oblivious that the school needs to revamp the program to be able to even compete with teams like UF, but let's not discredit the guy entirely.
