Fantasy Football - How much effort?
If you play FF, how much time/effort do you put into it each week?
I spend a pretty good amount of time on it. Between Monday and Tuesday I probably spend an hour considering any pickups or trades for the week. Between Tuesday and Friday I spend anywhere from 1-2 hours reading analysis and setting my lineup. Sunday morning I get up early to watch all the pregame shows and make adjustments to my lineup..
Wow it sounds like I no life! Hey there's a lot of money on the line here..
Re: Fantasy Football - How much effort?
Well I watch ESPN fairly regularly through the week. I'm a SAHM, and my son's naptime is my ESPN-time.
When we were in Vegas in September, we went to the ESPN zone and they had some t-shirt about a husband wanting his wife to do less talking, more watching ESPN, and MH was like that needs to be reversed. He has no idea how lucky he is.
I did a lot of research before the draft and each week I re-evaluate my lineup.
We don't play for much money, but I enjoy it so why not put the effort into it?
My husband's played FF before [not this season...just didn't want to], and he didn't put much time into it. We watch ESPN all the time together though, so he pretty much knew everything he needed to.
I play fantasy basketball [NBA], and I spend about 10 minutes a day on it. Watching ESPN and keeping up on stats on my players helps...I don't do a lot of research on my players since I have a pretty strong team.
Before the draft, I do quite a bit of research so that I have a decent roster. And so that I am not freaking out when all of the well known guys are gone after the first couple of rounds.
As far as the time during the season...I don't spend a ton of time. I keep my eye on ESPN during the ewek when I have time. And I do some research on Sunday mornings to make my line up the best it can be for the week.
Other than that, I will randomly check in to see if there are any changes that I deem necessary.
