What's on YOUR wishlist this year?
I'm horrible. I can never think of anything that I really want. The only thing I've been able to come up with so far is a camera lens. And I'm not even sure I really want that, but that's all I could come up with.

LOST season 5.
a new watch (i cracked the face on mine).
a sweater i found at ny&co that i love.
i would LOVE a new camera.
but alas, chris and i aren't doing christmas this year. we just can't afford it. sad day.
We're leaving on 12/24 and get back on 1/6. I'm so excited but I know I'm going to be exhausted when we get back. It's going to be a busy trip.
My parents are more excited than we are because they finally get to "live" in NYC for 2 weeks and get some quality time with their grand-dog...my mom has been dreaming about this for years.
No Christmas with extended family either??
Aside from the first year we were dating, Vik and I have never bought gifts for each other.

I bet. Long trips are always exhausting, but in a good way.
And I can totally see why your mom is so excited. If you ever need a house/dog sitter and your parents are busy... look me up!

I'm sure this is the only time it's going to work. We travel a lot so if you want to come to New York and can put up with my pup we're more than happy to have you house/dog sit! You'll be in for a surprise when you see our apartment though
We don't really buy Christmas gifts for each other...it's always about birthdays and anniversaries. We just add money to the "trip fund" - our Italy trip in 2011.
We both love decorating for Christmas, and it's exciting this year for the both of us because it's our first Christmas at our house. (Last year we were in FL). So believe me, we're going to go all semi-Griswold...not with the lights, but the engineer husband is already "planning" the areas of the house that "should" be lit up!!
we usually get gifts from my parents and his mom, but i don't ever ask for big stuff.

Aw, that's awesome. My family went to Israel when I was younger and my parents thought of doing an Egypt/Jordan add on but it didn't work out for some reason. I so wish we had been able to do it. Your trip is going to be amazing.
As for what I want, I also don't really know. I want a new ipod, but don't really NEED one so I could go either way with that. I kind of want some new clothes or something, but I don't know.
I have no idea what I want for Christmas (other than for this baby to be on the outside!) but a Kindle....what a great idea for my DH!! Thanks!

We don't do huge gifts for xmas, but i'm getting him an iphone this year
that's his gift!! I'm trying to sneakily get it for him the day before xmas eve! Wish me luck! I have to convince him NOT to upgrade on 12/12 when he's due...
I don't know what I want. Maybe a maid service! Or new carpet/laminate but no one's buying me that! I asked for a toaster from my mom...lol
But he's already got my present and I know what it is. So it'll just be my family asking me. And there really isn't much I want. I'd rather have money or giftcards to use towards house stuff!
I'm at a complete loss for TJ though. :-(
I want a new camara I love taking pictures.
This year DH and I are getting a big gift together this year.
