Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

H1N1---Thoughts and Prayers please!
My cousin is in ICU at Clermont Mercy hospital with the darn H1N1!! He is 24 and had no previous medical issues. He had 'the flu' for a few days and yesterday his girlfriend rushed him to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing. He refused to be put on a Vent and the hospital called his mom at 8:30 am telling her that he needed to be on a vent but was refusing it. She told them she could be dressed and to the hospital in an hour and the Dr. told her that in an hour it would be too late. So... they put him on the phone and she was able to convince him to be put on the vent. By the time she made it to the hospital they had paralyzed his muscles and I guess put him in to a medical coma. He's on the highest level of oxygen they can give him and they are giving him less than a 50% chance of pulling through at this point. He has a baby girl and a girlfriend who need him as well as the rest of the family and friends so please send your T&P his way!
You will have to excuse the lack of medical knowledge in my post, I am just getting the street knowledge from my mom.
