So I have exciting news.

No, I'm not pregnant.

But we are buying a house!!!!

I'm so flipping excited! We didn't think we were ready and we really hadn't intended to do this, but last week we were talking with a friend of ours and she's buying a new home (new construction) out by us (its a little farther than we ever even thought to look) and they were really cheap for this area.

Like, under 200K for a brand new TH cheap. I can't even get a condo in the area I live in for under 200K.

So we went and looked, fell in love, and we're going back tonight to put the contract down. We would have done it last night, but since this is the first house either one of us are buying we wanted both parents opinions. They're all inlove with the idea (which I was slightly surprised about - I was expecting at least one "its a good idea, but...")

The builder is going to put the specs in for our row after we put our contract down tonight because if he gets it all in this week we'll definitely be done in time to get our tax credit.

We're not really talking about it on FB or anything until we put the contract down and talk with the mortgage lady (although I don't see any problems being approved so I'm not super worried about that). But I had to tell someone so I'm telling you girls! :)
