Thanksgiving dessert help...no pumpkin recipes, please
My family spends Thanksgiving dinner with my SIL's parents and family. My mom and I are in charge of taking dessert. My mom is making pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake. I want to make a dessert, maybe two, that does not involve pumpkin. I was thinking pecan pie but am open to ideas. What are you making for dessert? If you aren't making dessert, any recipes you love that are easy and tasty? Thanks!

I've made a carmel apple pie before that is really good and really easy. It was similar to this, but it used fresh apples not canned. I can't find the recipe right now.
In the past I have made chocolate peanut butter trifles that were a huge hit as well as cheese cake brownies. I have the recipe for both if you would like.
I have a recipe at home for pecan pie bars that I am goign to try this year, it looks really good. I am also going to try martha stewarts snickerdoodle cupcakes.
