I'm waiting for our new bedroom furniture to be delivered. ?Do I tip the delivery men?? ?If so, how much? ?

Did you pay for delivery at the store? If so, then I don't usually tip. If not, and delivery was free, then I'd give them something small.

We paid $50-$75 for delivery at the store. ?So I shouldn't tip??

I have never tipped the delivery drivers, not sure if this is correct or not...

If you already paid for delivery, that service is paid for so I would not tip.

I wouldn't tip unless it's something they're having difficulty getting in, they go over and above,etc.

If someone had to get something up our stairs I'd probably tip them something, but for our living room it was an easy shot inside, drop and go. No tip!

I always tip delivery drivers, but then again I have really steep - narrow stairs and (to quote "My Blue Heaven") It's not tipping I believe in- it's overtipping. I work with laborers who get paid a rate (like the drivers of your delivery truck) but they always appreciate a tip - especially if they go above and beyond- like moving the old stuff out, or doing an especially good job setting everything up. I tipped each guy $20 for delivering our bedroom furniture (It was the heaviest set the store had, and with my stairs, and all...I also had them move my old dresser downstairs to my sewing room- so they definitely earned it.)

I tipped my delivery guys 20 bucks each because my bed was heavy...

I tip for furniture that is going upstairs (bedroom furniture) because our stairs are really difficult to navigate (weird turns, narrow, steep) but our living room furniture I did not tip because it was a big empty room and they just put the couch and loveseat down and that was it.
