My version of QOTD

Why am I so angry lately?

I seriously have no clue.  I told the worker at Borders last night that he "needed to leave me alone now" after he got a little snippy with me when I was looking a book up.

Let your imaginations run wild.  The winner gets a pumpkin roll baked in their honor.

Re: My version of QOTD

  • It is the time of the year....everyone is under a TON of pressure!  Holidays are coming, thinking of new year's resolutions, meeting boss' deadlines...

OR could be that he was just a sh*thead and he needed to be told off!

  • I love this time of year because I am allowed to say things like that.  That and stfu, go away, no I dont want any of your nasty effing hand lotion and if you dont get that effing hair straightener away from me I will shove it up your ugly ass.  I can blame it on being a scrooge, or the alcohol. Lots of people are drunk during the holidays so even if I am not....i can blame it on that.

I had a lady once on Christmas Eve when I worked at Macy's tell me that she hoped I got hit by a bus on the way home.  That was the last Christmas I ever worked in retail.

    I love you dear!

Oh, customers. So lovely! I had a man tell me I was ridiculous, our prices are absurd, and I should give him a bunch of stuff for free. When I said that wasn't possible, he yelled "JUST DO IT."

This man owns two of the most expensive (and overrated) restaurants in NYC. You're going to charge $30 for a hamburger and tell me my prices are out of line?

  • Oh and Code, you were probably angry because he did need leave you alone. Seriously, in stores like that the employees just need to remain visible. I promise - I will find you if I need help.
  • PMS?  I hate to blame PMS, but maybe PMS?

Or maybe Christmas is NOT the most wonderful time of the year like they tell us.

I JUST WANT THE PUMPKIN ROLL!!!

  • I can't stand hovering retailers.  I have been known to walk out of places due to hovering.  And if they're standing in the doorway ready to pounce, I just pass on by.

Be helpful when I need you, otherwise leave me alone!

I wish that was the problem.  Last nights incident was the most current example.  This has been ongoing for the last three weeks.

  • I hate 'stalker' sales people! (as I'm a salesperson who is so not that way... except when I sold shoes-I loved doing that)...

When I was 16-ish, I worked at McD's.  Just got on shift.  Someone was really peeved and they threw a Filet O Fish at me thru the drive-thru window.  Nice.

Been semi lucky thus far this season.  I've had some good clients.

Hope no sales stalkers this wkend! Ugh. They'll prob be too busy stocking shelves, ringing people up, etc. to stalk.

If someone did that to me at 16, I would've cried.

Now I would throw a mother-flipping McFlurry back in their face.

    What is wrong with people?

LOL! what could you possibly have done to make them throw fish at you?! good LORD! what an a-hole!

  • Because life isn't fair. Or maybe your teeth are feeling dingy and lusterless, and you need to scrub them up by taking big bites out of obnoxious people?

I hate the hovering service folk, too.
