Are you putting up holiday decorations this weekend?
Anybody else decorate right after Thanksgiving? I'm pumped to put up the tree and lights since we're leaving for TX on the 18th and I'll spend the rest of Christmas in a house without decorations. I already bought candy cane flavored Hershey Kisses...
(I realize Hanukkah doesn't start for a few more weeks, and I'm not sure we have any additional holidays celebrated on this board)

Possibly... we're in a twin and we do icicle lights w the neighbors (who also have this fugly star), so I hope to do that Saturday... maybe the other stuff, too, cause I'll be working or away the next few wkends...
Trying to see if we'll get a bigger (thin) tree this year. Fake, of course...
Dh and I decorated last weekend. We put up the tree and all of our knick-knacks/candles on Friday. On Sunday we added garland with lights in it on the railing and fireplace. We put up one of our Snoopy window decorations, but we lost the suction cups for the rest of them lol. And DH's mom gave us a beautiful wreath last year, so we need to get a hook to hang it.
We are going to look for more decorations on Black Friday.
You should get an uglier decoration and put it up as a challenge to theirs.
Heck yes! We were planning to do it this weekend, but found out we got to spend a little more time with my brother than expected, so we're putting it off until Friday or Sunday this weekend. We did go pick out our tree at the farm on Sunday though! I'm so excited... It's about 7-8' tall! We'll pick it up Sunday more than likely. And the baking will commence this weekend as well! I bake up a storm at Christmastime, so I have to start now
And candy cane flavored kisses?! I've never heard of them before!! I need to find some...
Target! I also bought the cherry cordial Hershey Kisses which are my favorite.
I will be decorating the restaurant this weekend...Saturday in particular...after that I am done! I have a little xmas tree that Gil and I will put up together and I will get out the menorah!
