Home Loan
Art and I just finished applying for our home loan. I have been pushing for almost a year that we need to get buy a house. Art on the other hand was like ya whatever.....UNTIL this whole baby situation. Now he is like we are wasting money on rent when we could buy. OMG that is what I have been saying for a year.
Anyhow now we are both on the same page. Found a realtor and we are working with the lender. Hopefully tomorrow we will have our approval. Then over the next few months we can start looking for a house.

Having a baby seems to put a lot of things into persective.
I hope this doesn't come across as harsh, but I think your little peanut was maybe sent to make Art aware of priorities. So even in its short time with you, he/she has made an impact.

I completely agree with you!!!!! I feel that it brought us so much closer together. Put our marriage in perspective!
I'm really happy to hear about your new goals. More than ever, should everyone if they can, need to take advantage of this tax credit for first time homebuyers. It was not the incentive to buy a home, but it did help motivate us and help us on our taxes. Rent is money lost and you'll never see it back.
We want to go to Alaska as well...Sithka! LOL...like you know from the Proposal. We prefer a cruise...where it will always be sunny and beautiful alongside the water.
Finding happiness in these goals will give you guys the strength and willpower to overcome anything together...and pretty soon your little firecracker might happen. ;-)
