Jenn!

I need a condensed catchup on the Good Wife. I watched it last week and this week and Im so hooked. I have caught it bits here and there in the previous weeks, but never sat down to watch it until last week!

Re: Jenn!

  • It's fantastic, isn't it?! I haven't watched this week's episode (I'll start that as soon as I'm done.).

The following are spoilers. Look away if you don't want to see:

Alicia's H was a State Attorney General (or something like that) who was involved in bribe scams and was busted with prostitutes. Alicia, who has been a SAHM and "The Good Wife" for 15 years, had to go back to work to support the family while H is in jail. She graduated top of her class from Georgetown Law School and only worked for 2 years, but was great at it. So now she's thrown back into the workplace.

The young guy at work is her competition. The firm hired them both for a try-out phase because they couldn't decide based on resumes. Her children know basically what happened, but because of unsupervised technology, they are learning more than she knows. The son is on a mission to clear the dad from everything. He thinks some of the photographs that were taken were photoshopped with Dad's picture.

So she is struggling with the public humiliation that her H put her and her family through, trying to protect the children, and trying to keep her job. Although the background story is great, I love that the show focuses equally if not more on the individual cases each week.

If you want to know any more, let me know :) I'm so glad I got you hooked, too!
