Re: OB-GYN house call poll

  • I voted sure, why not. I might be a little hesitant of the speculum, but I trust him. He!!, he's given me stitches before and I've drawn his blood, so this would be just another walk in the park for us.
  • That's what part of me would say - I mean, he's looked way inside my ear, my throat, he's tested all of my reflexes, listened to my heart - why not? But there's still this other part of me that's like EW EW EW EW NO.

  • Hahahahahaha

I said "Sure, why not" because I've been a guinea pig plenty of times. Never for an OB-GYN exam (I don't think he'd even ask me to do that), but I've been the "patient" for various exams, just before clinical tests. I like to be annoying and come up with fun answers for the name, date, and location questions ;) .

  • PS, I love how I can't answer my own poll beacuse I forgot a "I can't decide/IDK" option.  Poll fail.
  • I'd do it, but no way in hell is he doing a pap smear.

lol I do the same thing. And then I'll start doing really annoying things like standing up when he says sit down, etc. I like when he has to restrain himself from getting mad at me and use his patient voice ("Okay, ma'am, I'm going to have to ask you to sit down now.")

You were the only one I could think of to answer option C... oh well! haha!

  • I said no, but not because it's gross, but because I'd want that part of me to remain non-clinical.

We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • I put hell no.  I mean there are certain things that should stay private...your privates for one of them!

Haha sorry to disappoint! Yeah he's just never asked, but I'd just want to be helpful I guess.

You're lucky Y plays along, my husband will just get angry and say I'm not helping :) .

  • Probably not. I just prefer him to think of that area in non-scientific terms. :)

(Even though he's seen me have 2 kids) I still want to retain that kind of mystery I guess. But I totally understand why people would have no problem doing it.?

  • As a PP put, I would not want that seen in clinical terms. Weird..
