in April 2008 Weddings

I raelized last night I only have 1 can of green beans for the green bean casserole.  I am NOT going to the grocery store today. I ran to CVS down the street from work to see if they have green beans. 

We are in LUCK!!!! They had 3 cans.

    is this green been casserole good? I loooove green beans but have never had them in casserole form and I think I would like to try that....recipe?

    2 cans of green beans - drain them really well

    mix in 1 can of cream of mushroom soup

    bake for 20-25min on 350

    you just want everything to get hot & bubbly. 

    After they are cooked add one can of French's? French Fried Onions to the top.

    Thank goodness! That would have been a crisis in my book! But that's why every single time we go to the store, we always pick up a couple cans of green beans, so we're always stocked, I use them a lot. I heart green bean casserole so much. I had it the first time a couple years ago, and was sad I went for so long without having the yummy-ness of it. Carrie, you should like it :)

    Green bean casserole is only the best thing on the planet!! I have made ultra gourmet versions which are great BUT nothing beats the Campbells version. Definitely make the Campbells version. They aren't having it at the restaurant we are going to tonight so I think I am going to have to make it tonight.

    I'm making the green bean casserole this year to bring to the in-laws tomorrow.  I loooove green bean casserole.  Yum!

    Yeah, I don't recommend the grocery store tonight.  DH made me go see if the other Publix had tofurkeys.  They don't and it was CRAZINESS!

    OH! You should put some of the French Fried Onions in the mix too when you bake...then add the rest on top.  Super tastey!
