Since I work for a very large organization, we get a daily kind of newsletter thing (really just a list of links) with notifications about what's happening, PR info, employee updates, that kind of thing. It also includes a small classifieds section for employees to use.
Today there was an ad from a woman selling a second hand changing table. I'm definitely not averse to buying used furniture for our nursery, but I hadn't really planned on it simply because there isn't much of a market for that stuff where I live - there's no Craigslist, not much in the way of decent items at yard sales, and eBay is really only useful in major cities here. But I'm allllllllll about saving the moolah and this was really reasonably priced, so I immediately emailed her and arranged to take a look at it after work.
I loved it! It looks very similar to this one (in fact, I suspect it may be the same one but with a different brand name here - I don't know what the name would be though):

It's white, and she was including a new changing pad and two lined baskets in near-new shape, all for the grand price of $60. You'd better believe I was all over that bad boy!
To give you a basis for cost comparison, this one below is from Ikea, is the cheapest I've been able to find online anywhere in Australia, and costs $69 new:

Score!
