How do I post on the knot local boards?
I'm trying to post over on theknot local upstate-Western board (is this even the board for Rochester?) and every time I log in, I get redirected to the front page of thenest. Like now that I'm married I'm no longer wanted on theknot! lol
Do I have to create a new account?
I guess I could ask you lovely ladies my question too, so here it is.
BIL and FSIL are getting married next April and are looking for a place to host their rehearsal dinner. They think there will be 90 people there. They want something pub-like or very casual/fun like a back yard or park. The budget is $1500. Can anyone suggest a place?
Re: How do I post on the knot local boards?
The same thing happens to me sometimes- I just page back and try again, I usually get in on the second try.
Re. your question, not sure what area you're looking for, but they could have Dinosaur cater at a park- April might be chilly so you'd definitely want an indoor space too. I would check the county parks- I've been to nice showers/rehearsal dinners at White House Lodge in Webster Park, Ellison Park (has nice lodges with fireplaces, etc.) Kings Bend Park in Pittsford, Black Creek Park in Chili, and Brighton Town Parks
we did ours at Camp Eastman. You can rent a cabin and bring in your own food/decor, but tables, chairs, and a kitchenette are provided! And the best part is it's about $200 to rent the place for the day! I think only one of them holds just under 90 people, but I know that you can get a tent as well for it!
I would look into some of the other parks in the area as well.
