Just read it and loved it. So true! As a teacher I see a lot of this. Yes.....come and see your child's Winter concert, but you don't need to come to both dress rehearsals AND the concert! It doesn't make you the best parent there!
Very interesting article. I was a Co-op Coordinator at our University for several years. I actually had a parent come in to speak with me after I gave her son a C on his work term paper.
I showed it to Russ and the first thing he said after looking at the picture of the woman bubble wrapping her child is "that's you...." Apparently I need to bookmark the article!
