anyone go shopping?
I went to Meijer for regular groceries today & I didn't have to wait in line. I went to Old Navy and they were crowded but not nuts (didn't have to wait for the dressing room at all) but holy cow, the line to pay was so long it went to the back of the store!! I wanted a winter coat but they were out of almost all of them. I came home, ordered mine online, and got free shipping! I'm laughing at all those people standing in line!!
Re: anyone go shopping?
I went to Walmart in Florence to get the Cricut Expressions cutter (great deal by the way!) and it was absolutely nuts. I was going to browse around a little more there but you couldn't hardly walk around in there. It took me 45 minutes to get through the line and parking was horrid!
I also went to Michael's to get the Cricut cartridges on sale and it wasn't bad there at all.
Other than that, I was not in the mood to deal with rude people and crowded places!
We went out! We started at Kohl's, and snagged some really great deals. We were in & out within 20 minutes. Then my mom & I headed to target. Big mistake. We waited in line for over an hour..DH and dad went to Lowe's and h.h.greg. They got some good deals there and didn't wait long in the lines at all.
We always have a blast when we go out. We also enjoy watching people...some go completely crazy! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I can't believe it is here & gone already!!!
This was our first time attempting Black Friday...
We went out at 5am to Babies R Us!! Got us a Glider for $150! (Normally $300!) Then we headed to Home Depot to try for a Christmas Tree, but the line to get in the Depot was wrapped around the whole store - not worth it for us so we home and slept in
We did drive by the Florence Walmart and OMG there is no way I would ever put myself thru that mess! The entire parking lot was full, including all around the sides of the building and there were tons of cars just driving around...I can't imagine that everyone was able to get those great deals - it was such a mess!!
