Umm I just noticed that in my previous post I spelled "Thanksgiving" wrong....ha ha ha. How embarrassing.
Anyways is anyone else getting their tree today? H and I always cut ours down the weekend after Thanksgiving. I have some errands to run and then we are going to go get it! I am so excited. Yay for the holidays!
Re: Christmas tree!!!
We're having family over to see our new house next Saturday so we're waiting until after so we have more room. I will be putting up Christmas decor over the next week.
Anyone have recommendations for you-cut trees places? Last year we just got a pre-cut tree.
I just asked DH when we could get our tree and he just laughed at me
The house is a disaster right now with our elliptical machine parts sitting disassembled all over our formal living room and I have a ton of other cleanup to do before (or while) decorating, but I don't care! I want a tree! Last year it kept getting put off for various reasons and we only had it for about two weeks so I don't want that to happen again this year.
I'm such a Christmas freak.
We have gone to Forestry Farms in Littleton for the last four years. An adorable old couple own the place. We have always found a good selection of trees, and they sell wreaths!
How random, we go there too! Although at first I didn't realize that's what it was called, but it sounded exactly the same so I googled it and that's definitely the address where we go haha. I recommend it too, Mrs.C :-)
We'll be going this weekend with my parents to cut both ours together. We always go the first weekend in December.
That is too funny. When we first moved to Chelmsford we were looking for a new place to cut our own tree. We found a farm in Littleton called "Durkee Farm" and set out to find it. Well we must have taken a wrong turn because we ended up driving right by Forestry. So we just went there, and have gone there ever since.
Durkee is... I dunno how to put it. I don't recommend going there though. We only went once, and didn't find anything.
I guess the last name of the people at Forestry is Catalonotto or something, and we always call it that. That's why at first I was like "what's Forestry? It sounds like the same place otherwise.." hahaha
ha ha ha. I know. That is how I always remember it....because their last name reminds me of "My So Called Life" even though it isn't exactly the same---it still reminds me of Jordan Cattalano. Ha ha ha.
