what do you think of the whole situation? Something smells fishy to me.
Re: Tiger Woods
It is really fishy... because Tiger Woods has had this squeaky clean image and all of a sudden he is not talking.
Also, because the story of his possible affair broke 2 days before the accident. I guess TMZ was reporting that his wife chased after him with a golf club and broke all the windows in a fight, not to rescue him.
The longer he stays quiet, the more curious I am, even though I don't even follow golf!

It smells rotten.
I also am really frustrated that he keeps "cancelling" meetings with the state troopers to discuss the incident. Um, if it were me or you, we'd be apprehended if we avoided this whole thing.
This! I hate how people with money get to decide if/when they will even talk to the police, when there is no way that us "common folk" would get that courtesy.
I think the car crash was a cover-up for a physical fight he had with his wife. Why else would he crash into a fire hydrant and a tree at the base of his own driveway, where he's driven hundreds of times, unless he was either high/drunk (which police say he wasn't) or doing it on purpose?
yup! The longer he stays quiet, the stinkier it gets too.

It definitely smells fishy- sounds like his wife clubbed him- how could he have been unconscious for 6 minutes from a car crash that didn't even set off the airbags?
I do feel a bit sorry for him though- as he said, they deserve privacy.
eta: to clarify, by "privacy" I mean the media frenzy, not that he should get out of talking to the cops. As pps said- if it was you or me, our butts would be in jail, or at least served with a search warrant
I'm over it- he's not hurt- no one was injured except maybe a tree and the windows of his car...
He actually doesnt have to talk to the police- its not a state issue- it's a traffic accident- and all he legally has to provide is his license and registration and the statement he already gave...(this is according some police officer on cnn...)
really though- they need to let it go and if he is having an affair- not my business...
he didnt call- his neighbor did, right?-
and I thought they said he spoke with officals at the hospital but now its not the local cops its the state troopers who want to talk to him...
I think the whole thing is stupid. I can't believe that in an "economic crisis" public resources are being used (police) to investigate a situation that seems to be an overly-dramatic fender bender. And the fact that news about "entertainers" is being billed as "news" makes me irritated. I understand the Today Show is a mix of "real" news and entertainment etc., but when it's on the 6 PM world news I start to get annoyed. Really... there are more important things in the world than Tiger Woods to fill up a 1/2 hour broadcast.
His neighbor did call. In VA, if someone calls the cops to report an incident you were involved in, (even if you didn't call) a visit needs to be made. Not sure if it's the case here or not.
All I heard about the hospital was that they tested him for drugs/alcohol. But there's so much flying around right now that who knows!

LOL- I think so too...I hope she was beating his ass- if he's cheating..
IMO if the cops are "needing" to speak with him, they just need to go about the correct avenues to do so. No big deal to get a subpeona or whatever. He is most likely following the advice of his lawyers.
