I'm so mad about that accident in Prairieville...WHY were the adults the only ones buckled in? I read that there was an infant in the car too...carseat? Hello! Maybe I missed something, but really, why wouldn't any of those kids have been buckled in? :(

    i am. i saw it. my aunt's neighborhood backs up to the interstate right there and we were able to walk around the lake and see the scene over the fence...not a pretty sight.

    i am such a freak about DD car seat being buckled in and strapped to the hooks provided and that thing is in there so tight. why oh why would one not buckle in there child!

    Joeysgirl, you must be talking about the accident where the 5 children died? That seriously broke my heart and I wanted to ring the necks of the adults in the car...infants not in carseats typically make me want to get out the car and beat the hell out of their parents..some people want kids and can't have them and these people could careless that their child will die being that they aren't in a carseat..Yeah I was pretty much livid..Rant over..but I totally agree with you!

    OMG...I don't think I could stomach seeing the scene of that. :(

    oh gosh, I hadn't heard about it but that's awful!  Yeah, Elise doesn't get in the car without being in the car seat and it's in there hooked up to the latch hooks and you can't move it at all.  When you're in my car, you're buckled up, I don't care who you are!

    Yes.  I was in tears reading the paper yesterday morning.  The really gut wrenching part was that they had a carseat in the cargo area of the van.  But the infant wasn't in it.  How irresponsible can you be?

    The whole thing is just terrible.  I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all weekend.
