MIL does not have cancer!

She had been admitted to the hospital on Thanksgiving morning complaining of pain in her chest (this is after an x-ray reveiled a "mass" in her lung).  They continued doing testing all day and we were in the hospital for a few hours with the family.  Dinner was cancelled, but we ended up going to my mom's after for some food, which was nice.

She ended up going into surgery on Friday and had a cyst on her lung from a bout of pneumonia that she was getting over.  They drained a quart of fluid and that made her feel 110% better!  Sorry if that was too graphic.  We got there when she was being wheeled back into her room and she seemed to be in great spirits!

I think she will be going back to the nursing home sometime this week.

Thanks for all the well wishes!
