Did Julianna's on the Carlisle Pike close?

It looks like they may have closed.  Does anyone know for sure?

Re: Did Julianna's on the Carlisle Pike close?

  • I just drove by there this weekend, they are under a new name Black and Blue, not sure if the menu changed
  • I didn't see the new sign.  Hmmm, that's kind of upsetting.  DH and I go there every year for our anniversary dinner.
  • I had heard (not sure how reliable) that they were bought by the same guy who owns Fire Alley and that he owns quite a few restaurants in the area. There is still a Juliana's owned by the same people over in Middletown area.

  • Yes, it closed about a month or two ago (reported in the Patriot, and I drive by regularly).  The other location is still open.

I don't know anything about the Black & Blue restaraunt?  It must have opened quickly if this is correct, because last I saw there was a large red "X" over its former building space.

  • All of these are correct... Julianna's closed and was reopened by the Fire Alley guy... the paper said that he wanted to be open by Thanksgiving (the article was done about 2 weeks before) and I drove past there and they were open. The paper said that the X is going to change colors for the season I think last night it was red. I don't really know what it stands for though... I think my husband and I are going to try it on Friday.
