Re: December Cooking Challenge
I can post something I made with pumpkin but this had totally slipped my mind (and I wasn't making anything extra considering I couldn't move!)
I hadn't brought up anything for December - again, it'd totally slipped my mind. Let's get some ingredient ideas for December - first 5 things posted, I'll make a poll out of so we can vote again.
Mint/peppermint!
Peanut butter
I'm trying to think of some christmas/wintery ones
Soups
I was thinking of sweet potatos too, or a casserole.
I'll include it. I don't think I've had a "Christmas dinner" since I lived in England. Neither of our families really do that!
I wish ONE of our families didn't....we have 2 thanksgivings and then 2 christmases. No wonder we gain weight! ha.
Although I do think you should make a special christmas dinner for you and greg this year!
I never made anything with pumpkin in it. They were out of it at the grocery store when I went and I wasn't going to start searching for it at different stores.
I second Paula's idea of peppermint for December.
The only thing I made with pumpkin this month was pumpkin roll which is already in my blog.
I say we do Christmas cookies or candies!
