Vent thread
1. I just discovered our wedding organist cashed my check on November 13. I had to look for an image of the check onilne because I couldn't even fathom what this check was. Five months later? Really dude?
2. Aunt Flo and her sidekick Mr. Cramps decided to make a 4am visit this morning. I am so exhausted I can barely keep my eyes open.
3. I'm puzzled as to why, according to mint.com, my net worth is increasing but my spending usually exceeds my income.
4. I've been FB dumped 3 times this week unless there's a glitch somewhere.

I went to sleep at 3am, dreamt about statistics and apparently kept telling C to run follow up analyses while I was sleeping, and got back to work at 8am.
The water in the apartment was shut off. I'm sure there was a notice (I think they're doing work) but I haven't left the apartment since Sunday and I don't think it occurred to C to tell me if there was a notice put up.
Today is my friend's bday and we were supposed to get our nails done before her party. But I haven't finished what I need to and now I might need to go to my parents' house to shower anyway so I don't know how to do everything AND take the whole night off for her party (which I don't even want to go to because I'll have to see her sucky bf).

I woke up this morning with a nasty post-nasal drip. I currently can't swallow and my stomach hurts.
I'm depressed and my Thanksgiving sucked due to a variety of reasons of which all sucked.
I'm taking a half day today because both of the above 2 reasons which also sucks because we get very few PTO days and I want to save them all for the end of the month. FML.
These really aren't vents, but I thought I'd share.
I half assed my work yesterday and I am going to get chewed out for it today. I had to work from home yesterday and my network connection to our servers at work were running terribly slow so I didn't put the amount of time I should have on something. I will be insanely surprised if I get out of it without a nice warning fro my boss. We shall see.
I got an IUD put in yesterday. I did a lot of research before getting it put in and am aware of all the possible side effects. Today I decided to do more research on it, read more about stuff I already knew, and now that the thing is in me, I am freaking out more about the possible side effects. Hopefully it will be fine.
1. I just paid my property taxes for the year... despite the fact that the housing market sucks and home prices are down considerably over the past 2 years, our property taxes still went up by $150 over last year. Founded on nothing obviously since my house wouldnt sell for the assessed value.
2. My insurance provider decided to replace my BCP with a generic version and for the last 2 months I have been taking it, I've been all screwed up and just started my period for the 4th time in 2 months and I can feel a migraine starting. Not happy at all.
3. My boss is being a giant diickwad and left me a memo to pull together about 3 weeks worth of work by Friday. Super fun - especially since my brain hasnt really decided to come back from vacation mode. I just want to go take a nap.

1. I am really irritated with my students who still failed to complete their homework even with a TWO WEEK EXTENSION. *grumble*
2. I'm PMS-ing and I don't like it.
3. I am so not ready for it to be December yet. I'm blaming November. Damn you November! Damn you to hell! :P
I love my DH dearly but...really? He works from home most days and I asked him this am to please start the piles of laundry that have been building up. I get a text half way through the day saying "I'm on a roll right now so if I start the laundry it won't be til later." I get home and it still wasn't started. To top it off he had this horrible candle burning (just a scent I can't handle) and he said that he was masking the cat box. I am very good about cleaning the cat box but it's been like one day longer than usual as I've been straight out..heaven forbid he clean it for once!
Laundry is going and cat box is clean..thanks to me! Love it.
