massage ettiquite
I am going to get a massage this saturday (woohoo!) but I havn't got one since I was 18 so I'm not sure on the ettiquite (sp?). Do you tip the masseuse? Do you wear your bra and underwear during the massage? Luckily I have a woman doing the massage and it is a very reputable place I just don't want to look dumb.

PLEASE don't call her a masseuse. The correct title is Massage Therapist - this is what I went to school for. Masseuses give "happy endings" and are prostitutes - no reputable massage therapist wants to be thought of that way.
You undress to your level of comfort. Your bra should come off, so they can work your back. Any clothing you leave on will be considered a "barrier" and that area will not be worked (so leave your panties on if you don't want your glutes worked, etc). The area not being worked will be covered with a sheet at all times, only the current area being worked on will be unconvered.
Tips are always appreciated. In many instances, the salon/spa takes a good percentage of the massage fee. If the massage was good, leave a tip.

Interesting! I always wished they would work on my glutes, but I was always too shy to speak up. Now I know if I go sans underwear, they'll work on them. Thanks, Wendi!
(I'm a lot less shy after my naked massage/exfoliation in a room with 5 other people at the Spa Castle in Queens - it was pretty crazy)
I left my undies on but like everyone else said, it's whatever you're comfortable with. Most likely the massage therapist will tell you the same thing.
When H and I got massages on our honeymoon, gratuity was included so I did not tip. However I would have tipped at least 15% had it not been.
