Why is it that my husband can't put things away? And then, when he can't find the item in question he then gets snotty with me and expects me to find it? Hello, you married me, I did not give birth to you, so stop acting like I'm going to mother you!!!! Tonight he got all in a lather b.c he couldn't find the credit card. Now most of us would put our credit card in our wallet, no??? When I asked him where he had it last, he told me he put it on the bar counter, and couldn't fathom why it wouldn't still be there weeks later. Well friend, we eat there, place the mail there, and read the paper there. Wouldn't it be logical to not leave something important on a surface where items are being moved and or throw out daily?!? Of course I'm being "b*tchy" when I enquire as to why he would leave it there, can I "lecture him some other time" b.c. he is busy. Of course it was I who found the credit card, stacked in b/w some bills in the storage cabinet right next to the bar counter. It infurates me even more that he doesn't even really look for items that are lost, just whines that he can't find them. Argh!
Re: I don't get it *rant*
I'm rigth there with you. My usual response is, "what am I the knower of where all things are located?"
H misplaces everything, but at least he looks for it.
If I can't find something I flip out though. This is because I do put things in a logical place, like my car keys on the key rack. Yet when I go to the key rack the keys are missing bc H used them last and did not put them back.
