Holiday Shopping
How is everyone else doing on their holiday shopping? I went black Friday with my sister and got almost everything done 
, except for something for my Mom. We went to Wal-Mart at 4am to get a laptop they had on special for her and they were already all spoken for, people started to line up at midnight for it.

Re: Holiday Shopping
I have a fair amount done. I didn't go out on Black Friday but I did my share of Cyber Monday shopping. I can't wait for all of the packages to start arriving - it will be like Christmas before Christmas!!
Bill and I normally pick a Saturday in early December to go out and knock the rest of the shopping out in one day (at that point it is mostly gift cards we need to pick up)
I did take this past Monday off and got my Christmas cards done - that's HUGE!
I have 3 things left to buy and I know exactly where to go for them. I got a bulk of my shopping done in Oct with a combo of online shopping and my kohls coupons. My xmas cards are all done & sealed, just need to stamp them and send them on their way.
I was at walmart on black friday around 1am in West York and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out the freakin map to where you had to go to get in line for the particular sale items. People were camped out in the frozen foods section! Needless to say, I didn't stay long and didn't buy anything.
I finished everything for DH the day before Thanksgiving and got it all wrapped and put away before he could see it! I have 1 or 2 small items I might get off of Ebay for him, but thats it. I just have my best friend to get for, which is easy. And I have small gifts to make for my co-workers and close friends and then just family.. we are ordering our photo book we made for our wedding from Shutterfly for the in laws and my Aunt and Uncle.. as well as getting an enlargement and frame for them from the wedding of all of us together... and I just need to get 5x7 frames for them as well of a picture of us we got from our photographer for our family.. and then anything else we are getting for my grandparents, aunt and uncle, his parents and sister.. and we are done.. not a whole lot to get and its pretty easy this year.. didnt want to spend a lot of money and get them things they'd appreciate or need.
Just need to work on doing Christmas cards yet!
I'd say I'm about 50% finished. I have to shop for my mom and finish my dad. I know what I'm getting my brother but need to buy everything. I then have little gifts to get for friends, dog walker, colleagues, etc. I think I'm going to do food gifts if I can find the time to bake.
