So we got the biggest tree EVER, well for us, it's 8 feet and very wide. One of our strands of lights went down, and that left us with two shorty strands and one regular. I go to Target and buy two strands of 100 lights, but John requested the LEDs, so I got them. I pulled the tree to the middle of the floor and set up two ladders. Up and down I went for 30 minutes to get the top done, and another 10 to finish the rest. So proud of my accomplishment I plug in my tree to find that the LEDs burn blue and the old lights burn yellow.
John will need to fix this tomorrow..... I'll also try and post a pic so ya'll can see.

oh no!
i do have a question though....how many strings of lights did you put on a tree that big? i am curious as i have a 7 ft tree with 15 strings of 100.
here is the evidence
I have 200 regular lights and 120 LEDs and it obviously needs more.
omg...the blue LED gotta go!
