Shocked a little with work...
So, I work for a major corporation bank of which decided last year that we were not to decorate any of the banks for the holidays, were not allowed to play any Christmas music and were not allowed to even say Merry Christmas to anyone..I think they were terrified of offending customers *ahem scrooges* and losing their business..However, I think many people complained and got their points across because today we had 16 poinsettia plants delivered, a 7 foot pre-lit tree with ornaments and Christmas cards to even send out to customers! Shocked!
Not to mention our Christmas party this year is at The Gatehouse which shocks me even more! I guess our bank did good this year..last year we didn't even have a party! Moral of the story is: yay for Christmas, I guess? lol

Jenn, you read my mind! lol I was looking around earlier and said, ya know that's ridiculous! My job, of which employs some of the biggest scrooges, even has their decor up and I don't even have a REEF up! So sad! lol Next week, I'm goin' to town though! Can't wait!

Christen, it was definitely a big surprise but definitely a good one! It just lightens up the atmosphere so much! As soon as the decorations started going up, you could sense the change in people's attitudes...it's a nice change!
